PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ACT (POPIA) LEGAL NOTICE:
By attending this AFRICA AEROSPACE & DEFENCE (“AAD”) event and agreeing to the terms as set out in the registration form. You hereby voluntarily authorise the AAD to process personal information (including but not limited to photographs/images taken, names, addresses, etc.) in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA); which will include the receipt, recording, organising, collation, storage, updating or modification retrieval, alteration, consultation, and use, the dissemination by means of transmission, distribution or making available in any other form for purposes relating to this event. You further consent to your personal information, including in the form of video recordings related to this event or other form of transmission or broadcasting platform including the internet, be used in the promotion of this event. In the case of the children or minor(s) attendees of the event, such consent is required from the parent or guardian. The AAD undertakes to take reasonable care to protect your personal information using reliable information security safeguards.”
AAD 2024 is open to Official Defence Delegations, Exhibitors Guest's, AAD 2024 VIP's, Department of Defence, Foreign Delegations, Media and Trade Visitors. Trade Visitors may be subject to security checks onsite. Persons attending the exhibition should carry and produce on request a photographic identity document i.e. Passport, Drivers License. The Trade invitation is only valid on the three trade days from the 18 – 20 September 2024 and not for the two air show days 21 - 22 September 2024. No person under the age of 18 years, including children of exhibitors will be permitted to enter the venue during the trade day period. All persons attending to strictly adhere to business attire.
The following item are NOT permitted onsite: *Laser devices *Firearms, knives or weapons *Drugs or alcohol *Pets unless guide dogs *Aeronautical radios, air band receivers *Radios capable of tuning (Scanners). If radios or scanners are found on the day it will be confiscated by ICASA *The flying of drones during the event is also not permitted unless expressly permitted by the organisers. *Smoking is only allowed in designated areas
Visitors are welcome to bring their cameras to photograph events. Medical/ first aid facility, access for the disabled available. Rights of Admission reserved.
